A 5-room apartment with a large balcony was transformed into a spacious and upgraded 4-room apartment for a couple moving up the property ladder, who chose to invest in aesthetics, high-quality finishes, and the design of their home.
The choice of lighting fixtures in the apartment was tailored to the clients' needs and the layout of the space. Naturally, the use of warm lighting and precise color rendering from Belgium (DELTA LIGHT) and Italy (ZAVA, TOOY, ARTEMIDE) enhanced the accurate and correct look of all the elements in the apartment.
An additional advantage was the use of a smart electrical system, which allowed us to create (almost) unlimited lighting scenarios.
We selected magnetic light strips that emphasize the length of the public space and provide focal points for lighting along their entire length. In the kitchen area, we used continuous, stronger lighting to create a well-lit, focused work environment above the countertops. Around the living room and dining area, there are focal points for lighting various pieces of art with beams suited for each item.
The center of the living room was illuminated with focused lighting embedded in the ceiling. The dining area and the seating area at the kitchen island were lit with decorative hanging light fixtures.
For the hallway, we chose general lighting along with night marking lights to allow navigation in the space without using bright general lighting.
The bathrooms also received night marking lighting to allow use during the night without general lighting, which aims to provide diffuse and homogeneous lighting.
In the master bedroom, we created general lighting embedded in the ceiling, which is almost invisible when turned off, soft ambient lighting from the wall, closet lighting, and focused reading lamps.
