We designed a campus for Cato Networks, a global powerhouse in cloud based security located in Tel-Aviv, Israel. The new headquarters span six floors and nearly 20,000 sqm in one of Tel Aviv’s newest high-rises in the center of the city.
The design concept was derived from the term "entropy" - the measure of the order of a system, where the system always seeks to return to a point of equilibrium. The circulation within each floor was used as a ribbon that provided balance between various programs that hugged both the building's core and curtain glass perimeter.
Curved and orthogonal vernaculars were connected via the corridors' architecture, lighting, and materiality - behaving as a stabilizing factor between said vernaculars. Various programs are separated and subsequently unified within each floor, tying together public and private moments into one campus that reflects the company's identity of one platform that connects all edges, everywhere. This unifying approach is further highlighted using the existing architecture - a multi height atrium provided by the building - and newly added interventions such as a multi level stair that connects different levels and departments with one another.
